Hi fellow tsikoters, tanong ko lang, ano ba ang mas maganda sa dalawa in terms of reliability, gas mileage, space, power and amenity between sa Nissan sentra S3 1996, at Toyota corolla gli 1996?

Both are about the same in those categories, except the sentra has power folding side mirrors.

The Sentra is also cheaper to buy for the same year model as compared to a Corolla.

But at nearly 15 years old, both will be having wear & tear issues and problems due to age like busted sensors and electronics/electrics.

Any sensors like the oil pressure or water temperature sensors, electrical relays (fans, lights etc), switches for the power windows, a/c blower speed control.

These stuff normally don't fail but age can make them faulty.

i do not think one is particularly superior over the other. it will probably be a question of personal preferences and tastes.

Just like the others posts, Both cars are good. Its just a matter of choosing which among both cars is in good running condition.

Sentra has timing chain, power folding mirrors and power antenna. Just a slight advantage over the Corolla.

Given that both cars are around 15 years old... that "advantage" of having a timing chain or electric toys doesn't hold that much significance anymore. Electric toys and timing chains can fail after many years of use/abuse.

Yes, if you're stupid enough going to get an "abused" car.
