Durh. Civic. Better engine. Better transmission (though it's still sluggish compared to the MT).
If it's the Vios 1.5 MT... it's a bargain for the space and performance, but if it's the AT... Toyota's ATs suck.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Civic!
If you can stretch your budget by a bit, get the Civic 1.8S A/T instead.
dali lang malaos ang sedan....(sabi nung isang tehmod)
kaya outlander nalang![]()
civic hehe
4 speeds only, long ratios (which means slower acceleration in traffic), sluggish response (which means you have to hit the gas pedal harder to make it downshift), and a traditional torque converter (as opposed to the Honda City's CVT, which is lighter, thus saving you fuel and incurring less power transmission loss).
What's sad is that Toyota has great engine technology. They match or nearly match Hondas for specific power output while nearly always having more torque. They're also very fuel efficient, like Hondas.
I don't recommend Toyota automatics, simply because it's a waste of a great engine.![]()

Civic na. Same price, bigger space/engine, better tranny. Pero kung ako, MT kukunin ko.![]()
hmm...still undecided till i see the vios up close. the vios comes with all the bells and whistle kasi. plus its easier to maintain (cheaper parts) and its more fuel efficient. plus toyota reliability pa. then again civic looks so good! spacious pa plus that engine! i'm confused(vios 811k civic 817k)
The Civic has a larger space, longer service intervals (every 10Tkms), and awarded Car of the Year twice. But the more economical choice is the Vios.
