    Hello people!

Here are new model 7-seater, pick-ups turned mid-sized Diesel SUVs... News is, they'll be turning-up in the Philippine market within a year...

    1. Toyota - Fortuner (3.0 D4D Common Rail, 4WD)
    2. Isuzu - MU-7 (3.0 i-TEQ Super Common Rail, 4x4, 4x2)
    3. Mitsubishi - Strada G-Wagon (2.8 4M40 Turbo Intercooler)

Add these to Ford's Everest and we'll be seeing a very competitive mid-sized SUV market!

Given a choice, what particular unit would you consider acquiring?

Ummm... The poll should read Toyota Fortuner instead of Ford Fortuner... Mr. Administrator, can you have it changed? I dunno how...

I'm sorry to say that the Montero Sport is not the Strada G-Wagon. The Montero Sport is a phased-out US model being sold in the Philippines and is not a 7-seater. The G-Wagon is yet to arrive. You can check out the Mitsubishi Thailand Website, if you wanna be sure.

Am going for the Toyota Fortuner. Now if you include the Nissan Xterra in the list, it will be a tossup

Was planning to add the Nissan Paladin/X-Terra. But, I couldn't find a site with sufficient info and good pics. I have no idea if it'll be a 7-seater. All I've seen is a spy pic that looks like a Frontier turned into a mid-sized SUV, with hints of the old Terrano.

Maybe someone can post some pics and specs here...

I think both the Strada Wagon and the Montero Sport are both pick up based SUVs. Sometimes, I mistakenly identify the Strada Wagon as the Montero Sport.

i'll go with the everest... the other 7 seater SUVs will prolly be selling for around 1.5M (and that's just the base model).

the g wagon is base on the strada n with leaf springs although the montero sport is very related to the g wagon since the montero sport use to have leaf springs also but was modified to have coil springs for better rider comfort.

in my opinion, toyota 1st, new design, new engine...can't go wrong with a toyota.

2nd mitsu bec. 4m40 engine(same as a gen2.5 paj so abundance of parts in the next 10 years, same under pinnings as the strada n pajero so u aldso can't go wrong with this choice.

Hehehe... Sorry for the Error folks! Was asking the administrators to have it changed. I was originally posting the names in reverse order, but forgot to remove Ford's name. Anyways, from the votes and the posts in this thread, I guess everyone knows better.

It's Fortuner and not Fortrunner... The Toyota plant people pronounce it "For-TOO-ner". They'll correct you if you pronounce it "For-CHOO-ner".
