Dont get rush. It is slow and can get cramped inside. Xpander looks roomy though

Thanks for the reco. I'm on the fence with the Xpander since its relatively new so not much feedback yet. What do you mean the Rush is slow? Are you referring to acceleration?

Thanks, thought of it but the van is too big for is right now. Maybe in the future.

In laws had a Starex, disposed for a CX-5. Van is too big for us.

    1. Lack of power, a 1.5 NA gas engine is woefully slow.
    2. Comfort, they made them too high, good ground clearance but you sacrifice on the ride quality.
Also, it feels cramped for a 7 seater, when compared with an Innova.
    3. Long term reliability is not yet established. We don't know yet, until a few more years on the road.

I'm also in the market but might be opting for the new KIA Sportage if the SAs get their act together.

Good luck in your search. Let us know how it works out.

7-seater, diesel engine, high ground clearance and brand reputation.
The Mux 1.9 RZ4E is the cheapest midsize SUV.
Oh, china brands are cheaper though.

You could try and check out Toyota Pre-owned then for an Innova that would fit the bill for sub 1m php.

It might not be a 3 year old G trim, I think it would fit as an E trim though. Really depends on Toyota CPO (certified pre-owned). You'd have to be the one to call per branch though in your area of convenience.

Five to six people on captain seats, with enough room for luggage, dog cage and some more.

Get a Nissan NV350, customize your seats to your liking, and you will have everything you need.
Ah captain seats. Nothing beats those for long drives. Speaking of customized NV350, I once played with the idea of getting the cargo model. The extra body length would be great for legroom. With the lower price vs the 15 seater/18 seater/Premium, captain seats all around would've been possible. If only it had AC vents in the back...
