-1100cc Engine very fuel efficient
-good running condition
-130k mileage
-everything is stock

downside:
-registration is due this august
-needs A/C wiring repair – sometimes the a/c works but sometimes it doesnt
-needs paint and body repair

should i go after it?

paint and body repair will cost you a pretty penny i'm sure. aircon, madali lang yan, its not a terribly complicated system, kahit sino pede gawin yan.

40k? hmm... parang pwede na. tawad ka pa 35k, kamo pagagawa mo pa yung aircon tsaka yung engine cooling system (radiator, hoses, etc...), plus mga kalampag - i'm sure meron na nun, not to worry, mura lang piyesa nyan.

mura lang rehistro nyan. pag 1.6L yung makina e parang 2,800 lang e, cguro yan mas mura.

depending on the state of the body, pag napakarami na talaga kalawang, or bugbog sa masilya, wag mo na kunin. karamiwang mga ex-taxi ganito eh. dapat pag kinatok mo yung body panels tunog lata pa rin. pag tunog parang kahoy masilya yun, nasa iyo na yan kung paano mo i-assess - kunin ko ba o hindi...

good luck on your purchase. remember, walang 2nd hand na kotse na "sasakyan na lang sir!" - walang ganun. usually may problema yan. when and if you get it, drive it around town muna for a couple of weeks, make a checklist ng mga papagawa, then sa 3rd and 4th week pagawa mo na. hopefully in 1 month you will have a decent, reliable, comfy transport machine.

yung aircon, maghanda ka ng 8,000. that should cover a new compressor, lines and labor.

Surplus fenders, door, tailgate, hood for your unit is pretty inexensive nowadays. Kailangan mo nga lang ipapinta. At least madali maghanap in case tadtad na ng masilya or may prior crash damage.
