    4. Ano ang ma-porma?
    5. Alin ang spacious?
    6. Kung vios 1.3 A/T, around 8k a minth gastos ko sa gas a month.

    >>> vios 1.3 A/T kasi gamit ko now.

Sa budget na 900K to 1M, pasok sa iyo, ranked per engine power, based on paper, all with disc brakes, ABS, EBD, Airbags, etc:

    1. Elantra - Top of the line 1.8GLS Model. 6 Speed AT, Steering Wheel Audio Controls
    2. Civic - Lowest End na 1.8S AT - 5 Speed AT
    3. Focus - Mid Range 1.6L Trend - 6 Speed, Steering Wheel Audio Control, Hatchback or Sedan
    4. Altis - 1.6V - 4 Speed AT, Steering Wheel Audio Control
    5. Lancer - Mid Range 1.6MX - 4 Speed AT - With GPS/Sat navigation, Steering Wheel Audio Controls

Kung masaya ka sa Toyota, and wouldn't mind the bland design and 4AT, mukhang your safest choice would be Altis 1.6V. Reviews also indicates that you can easily achieve 10KM/L on light to moderate traffic (City) Driving. Next to that would be Lancer MX which comes with GPS Navigation, in a more aggressive design. Although Toyota beats Mitsubishi on NVH insulation.

Based on reviews, Civic struggles at 9KM/L moderate traffic.

I have an Elantra GLS which have all the toys I need except for GPS, but at best, I can only do 9 KM/L on moderate Mandaluyong-Makati traffic. Hyundai PMS schedule of 3 Months or 5000 KM, whichever comes first is also a bummer.

No idea about Focus though . . . the 2.0L is a very good car, complete with all the toys, pero very limited pa ang mga feedback na nadidinig ko . . . there's a Focus Sedan at the condo, pero it doesn't look that good.

    What's the difference between 4at, 5at, 6at etc?
Also, kumg compared to vios na 8k a month gastos ko sa gas, estimate mo how much gastos kung elantra o altis?

If you're good with owning an older model car, then the Focus TDCi might be a good choice. I can still see ads of Ford dealers selling this model for just above 1M brand new. Good handling and performance coupled with the fuel efficiency of a diesel.

*chadman - 8k a month gas expense for a 1.3L Vios? That's about 2k a week for gas. How far do you drive each day?

I suggest you go for SUVs or AUVs, iwasan mo na ngayon ang sedans... uso na ang baha ngayon at especially sa Bulacan areas. I suggest you go for diesel cars...no matter how high the gasoline price goes...diesel is always below.

Don't be afraid of diesel cars especially sagot ng company mo ang PMS. Just follow the PMS and no problem with jurassic diesel engines.

If your a cool & easy driving guy, I recommend to you Mitsu Adve & Crosswind. BTW, I have an Adve 2011. FC is 16km/liter sa hi-ways * 60-80km/hr. and 11.8km/l sa mixed drives(hiway & city traffics) * ave. 80-120km/hr speed. My top speed is 145km/hr...May ibubuga pa up to 4000rpm but I already stop due to nerbyos...hehehe.

If your an aggressive and speedy driver, then I suggest you go for Strada or Montero.

Anyway, the final choice is yours...good luck. Thanks.

Mas matigas ang suspension and recently na discover ko na mababa ung air intake so mahina sa baha he he he.
I have both the 9th gen altis and the 2012 honda civic. Pag gusto ko hataw sa civic pero pag gusto ko ng comfort driving ung altis he he he.

Bibigyan kasi ako kotse ng kumpanya and bawal ang Vios kasi hindi pasok so safety standards (di ko na tinanong bakit). Di ko alam rason.. So yung sa taas lang choices ko.
Although libre maintenance, repair, etc, pero gas ako sasagot.

Kaya kahit papano, I'm looking for a car sana na ok din FC.

kung sagot ng office ang PMS, how about diesels? Strada, ayaw mo?

Ano ba downside ng diesel compared to gas?

diesels are generally more fuel-efficient then gasoline cars.. more flood-resistant..

4AT short for four speed automatic, 5AT for 5 speed automatic and 6AT for 6 speed automatic.

Kung similar route, just multiply 8000 x (vios' FC / other car's FC)
