She will use it for their trips to the mall, church on sundays sometimes with her apos or any short trips a grandma does. Ive read some issues sa accent here in tsikot gano ba kalala yun mga yun, parang engine related? Btw she hates automatics she prefers driving manual..

How bout ford fiesta, chevy spark, vios, kia rio, city ata lagpas na sa budget. Ano ba pinaka ok..baka pag nag suggest ako at palpak hambalusin ako ng payong..

recommend instead the base vios. "mura na, maaasahan pa dahil toyotah!" at dahil ginagawang taxi, ay kapag masiraan sa daan ay madaling makakahagilap ng mekanikong kukumpuni...
maybe she saw jackie chan driving his accent in the movie...

Huwag lang masira aircon ng vios because getting to it requires ripping the whole dash out.

The accent aint that bad (and im a toyota driver). If mom really wants one, give it to her. Shes at an age where she deserves to get what she wants already. Hehe. Just help out if anything needs repair or maintenance,

Pinili ko Vios over the Accent kasi mas gusto ko ng peace of mind.

Pero my thoughts are the same as with Doc Otep, if she wants the Accent then by all means get her one. Sabihan mo lang siya ng possible repairs na pwede niya harapin then bahala na siya if she'd like to push through with the purchase or not.

Of course, marami sa daan, ginagawang taxi etc. Sa iba kasi turn off na agad yun eh. Kaya baka ayawan rin ng mommy mo.

Sunod na i-suggest ko yung 1.2 LX Rio. Yung pinaka-mura. Or yung 1.4LX Rio.

Cheapest Honda City is 746k then cheapest Jazz is 756k. No discounts yan, alam mo naman Honda.

Bagay yung red sa mom mo, it's small, it's fun to drive and it looks so damn good. Frankly, if it weren't for the space, I would have chosen this over my Vios. Kaso hindi ko alam kung over the budget din.

Sobrang konti kasi ng choices that will be under 700k. Nasa isip ko lang is Kia Rio 1.2LX (it's under 600k actually) Hyundai Accent 1.4L MT (offer sakin before 608k lang w/ free LTO) Chevrolet Spark then the Kia Picanto.

Kunin mo sakanya yung 1.2L MT Para TOTL and has the features to boot.

Renzo that is the most concise list of everything in the market withing that range..thanks bro kumpletos rekados yan.

As for the accent medyo na himasmasan siya kinuwento ko mga nabasa ko dito tsaka yung mga nakausap ko talagang dami nagsasabi na there's something wrong nga, sayang gandang sasakyan pa naman.

As with the peeps in Accent club, the engine knocking can be cured by a free upgrade from the dealer. I bet the upgraded ECU now comes with every Accent since it was a free upgrade on early units, not sure though. Central locking and alarm system is another horror issue. Other than that, 2011 Accent owners seems very satisfied on their units.

may nabasa din akong ganyan. kaso mas madami talaga at consistent ang power lock/alarm at engine knocking issue. actually, rack and pinion nga yun eh. at saka AC filter na mabilis ma-clogged. buti AC filter clogging at broken wheel studs lang naging issue ng CRDi ko hehehehe
