Tried counting AE101 vs FX a while ago, and it was a 61-44 win for the AE101. Clearly it was and is the most popular car in the Philippines.

It's interesting to note how the FX has ceased to be a common private car, but more shocking is that it is no longer the dominant vehicle in FX terminals. It has been equaled by the Adventure and the Crosswind, particularly because of its age.

correct, yung mga ibang FX (also the old hi-lander) na dating pampasada ay nagiging private na at yung may "for dropping" sa plate holders nila , although there are a few of them still plying. but dominant na rin yung mga bigger vans na mas marami ang seating capacity, and of course the crosswinds and adventures na andyan pa rin after a long time.

The FX is being replaced because it is really old. And there are Revos that can take its place. I've always wondered what the "For Dropping" signs were for. What are the "Break In" signs for anyway?

Break in - kadalasan ginagawa pag bagong overhaul ang engine. Mabagal ang takbo ng vehicle pag ganito

it has gotta be the toyota corolla and all its descendants.

Lancer GT meron. Iba yon front bumper sa harap at may spoiler nung '86-'89. 1.6 Liter just like the GSR model.

You know what else?

Ba't ganon? Ba't ganon?

    BAKIT GANOON?!

Yes. But I think this has been largely superseded by the "surplus" multicabs which offers more utility space despite its size.

What's wrong with that? Diesel engines are on average more economical than petrol counterparts. And more importantly, diesel costs less per liter.

And CRDi-powered vehicles don't even dominate segments where a similar Toyota-branded, gas-fed vehicle is available.

you can only ride on them only in the Philippines, but you can see them on all parts of the Globe; miniature style nga lang-souvenir type....
