Note... those were the worst sellers (as opposed to their expected sales), but not exactly bad cars. The Volt, for one, has been praised by almost everyone who's driven it.

The Civic may be disappointing compared to its rivals... but it's still the best selling sedan in Canada...

I don't see why the facelifted Jaguar XF is placed in the list.

It looks classier and elegrant than the equivalent BMW 5 series or Mercedes E-Class. And more so, now that they given it the "XJ treatment" at the front. Mind you, based on several reviews (local, UK, etc.) , it seems really a competent car to push around in the track.

Disregarding any misconceptions about reliability, resale value, etc... this is the car I'd get over the 5 series and E-Class.

Externally, the Civic's main weakness is its rear end design which looks like a cut and paste design from the Dodge Neon. Inside, the dashboard is looking nice with the exception of the odd asymmetrically shaped a/c vents. The door panels lacks any inspiration at all. Makes one think what were these Honda designers doing for the last 5 years.

Still... The 2012 Civic is still looking to be a better driver than the current Altis.

Anyone care to start a list (for most hated cars) in the PH?

My criteria would be based on anecdotal evidence - what people say about them, those that have been discontinued, even those that are still around but for one reason or another, parang walang bumibili. In no particular order, IMO these are the most disliked cars of all time in the Pinas...

1. Honda HRV - why would anyone turn a CRV into a station wagon?
2. Kia Pride - also known as the Kia Shame
3. Kia Besta - also known as the Kia Worsta
4. Current gen Nissan Sentra - after being launched as "all new", nobody was fooled.
5. Ssangyong Musso - the bastard child of a German SUV and a Korean engineer. Mercedes Benz daw?
6. Ssangyong Aktyon - the abnormal child of an SUV and a car
7. Ssangyong Rodius - the abnormal child of an SUV and a van
8. Current gen Mitsu Galant - medium sized car looks, sub-compact specs
9. Daewoo Racer - Racer? Really?
10. Chery QQ - as in kyut kyut? Go on, keep dreaming.

Except 4, 6, 7, and 8; all the others don't qualify. Can someone revise the list?
