March 18th, 2010 12:41 PM #1opinion naman po from the expert or MS owners, plano ko po kasing bumili this June. Gusto ko sana 4X4 A/T kaso 3.2L lang meron nun which is di kaya ng budget ko. So which one ?

The difference between the 2.5 4x4 M/T & 2.5 4x2 A/T is, the 4x4 M/T has headlight washer & rear disc brakes which is not found on the 2.5 4x2 A/T. But the 2.5 4x2 A/T has tailgate cladding..
If i would choose between the two, i'd pick the 2.5 4x2 A/T.. Mas ginhawa mag drive on an A/T compared to a M/T plus the montero's A/T has INVECS II sports mode +/- transmission naman.. But if you're a person who really goes off roading get the 2.5 4x4

Yup it's a matter of preference pagdating sa tranny. If you're really aligned for the 4X4 you have to settle for the available manual tranny but if 4X2 will be fine then there is the more comfortable A/T variant.

depende sa needs mo yan sir. kung pang city driving at konting out of town lang, mag A/T ka nalang. pero kung heavy duty ang gamitan, mag GLS 4X4 M/T ka.
observations ko so far sa GLS 4X4 M/T:
-malakas hatak (syempre M/T)
-smooth clutch
as an aside, in the olden days, anyone who does not move 'ala luksa during Holy Week, especially...
