if montero, a big difference will be noticed esp on the acceleration and vibration since you are from a gas fed civic. but if you're decided to go diesel the MS is the way to go. for comfort and space, it's going to be the best buy. just prepare for the looooong wait.

Montero Sport nalang IMHO..
Forester?the 2 liter variant looks and performs kinda weak IMHO for its class, this SUV is only better in 2.5 XT form IMHO..

Also, Have you seen the interior of both cars?
The forester has LOTS of toys, not to mention the giant moon roof
The Montero's interior looks spartan for my taste.
Since you live in Manila, I think you wont be having any issues with the lone service center of Subaru.
Also, Montero's maintenance is very expensive

[SIZE=4]Subbie FXT ako. It`s quite rare than the Montero Sport. As what sir GH said, even though the Ford TDCi is a diesel, eh still, stiff pa rin daw ride. Sooo.. better if you cancel it from your list already.
Mitsu Outie Hmmm....

Forester gets my vote, especially the XT (yes, if money is not an issue). 2.0 is still a good buy.
But if you need spare seat/s for your kids' 'yaya', then it should be the MS.
as an aside, in the olden days, anyone who does not move 'ala luksa during Holy Week, especially...
