The Murano occupies a higher class bracket than the Outlander. A Murano is currently Php2.780M.

It's funny how the Murano doesn't come with front foglamps at that price. At least it has a rear foglamp. hehehe.

Baka paatras talaga ang takbo nun. :D

    2.7M? That's already Pajero territory.

    I go for the Outlander.

And the Pajero is a rough tough SUV with a low range, skid plates, and a third row to boot.

But the Murano should drive better than the Pajero. However, it still has another stiff competitor, the also-car-based Hyundai Veracruz, which packs more features (about the only thing not there is a sunroof) at a lower price. How the market will respond to the unavailability of a V6 Veracruz is still unknown. Buyers at this segment are not exactly fuel misers.

Sunroof is standard equipment sa RP-spec Veracruz 3.0 Diesel.

I think that aside from Hyundai-Kia Group newest diesel engine with S-CRDI and E-VGT technologies, the RP-spec Veracruz has everything na meron sa INTERNATIONAL SPEC lineup for this model.

Siguro, wala lang yung cruise control.....pero you can request from HARI to add it sa VC mo (dagdag ka nalang ng 84k pesos). Also, you can request to change interior trim to PIANO BLACK and ALL-BLACK LEATHER SEATS FOR FREE (no additional charge). You can also request for Silver-Gray leather or Beige Leather at no cost as well with respective dashboard trim (a total of four interior colour options).

You can download the INTERNATIONAL SPEC brochure ng Hyundai Veracruz in this website:
    http://worldwide.hyundai-motor.com/d...e/Veracruz.pdf

This covers all specs and options for the Veracruz worldwide (except sa Korea which is the home market and they get more goodies).

Anyhow, on to my real post.

Between Murano 3.5 AWD and Outlander GLS Sport, it's really a neck-and-neck decision IMHO.

    Here's what I think:
-Design: Murano no doubt (esp. in black paint)
    -Features: Outlander GLS Sport siguro
-Drivetrain: Panalo pa rin ang ALL-MODE 4WD/AWD system ng Nissan Murano
-Engine: Seems to slightly favor the VQ (kahit lumang version ang gamit niya)
-Fuel Economy: dunno; slightly similar (factors of weight and horsepower incl.)
-Sound system: In terms of RAW PMPO, the Rockford Fosgate beats the BOSE
-Pricing: siyempre Mitsubishi Outlander GLS Sport by all means
-Transmission: Invecs II (o kahit Invecs III) CAN NOT beat Nissan Xtronic CVT
-Storage options: Siguro Outlander GLS Sport (from what I've seen and heard)

Well so far that's that. However, even with this. They appear to be even or perhaps it's just an apples to oranges comparo. They both excel in their respective strengths and lose out on their respective weaknesses.

In short, check your preferences.......but trust me though when I say that you will NEVER GO WRONG with either vehicle

Hey bro, almost in all aspects lamang ang murano... its a 350z suv for pete's sake. Kaya nga u might notice the price difference. It kinda belong to a higher bracket that is targeting a much higher market. The on ly prob. is hindi sya "... mura no?" coz mahal talaga sya.
