Just an interesting comparison. Considering their price (without discounts) is not too far apart, which one will you pick?

Not really a fair comparison. A turbo two-seat sports car vs a non-turbo four-door sedan.

It would have been better if you compared the Lancer EX RalliArt 2.0T vs the Hyundai Genesis 2.0T (entry).

Sa price ka naman hindi fair ang comparison, the Genesis Coupe being cheaper...

Siguro the TS is strictly looking at price by comparing the two. Its like I have a P1.3M to spend, which should I get?

    That's exactly my point.

Depends on car's purpose but I think comparison is not really fair as Lancer GTA costs much less.

Anyway, if for everyday use, for sure Lancer. But if spare/coding car, Genesis Coupe nalang siguro.

if that is the case, why not throw in the Ford Focus 2.0L TDCi PS6 as well? Priced at P1.19M SRP, I am sure it would be included in the list if one is simply buying on a fixed budget.

A fast car that handles well (in factory form) and looks great but frugal on the fuel. If factory-stock performance is inadequate, Speedlab has a few tricks to give it major horsepower & torque boost with some simple mods.

Exactly. With the sales price discounts, it will be priced more cheaply than the Genesis Coupe.

Specs vs. specs, talo ang lancer. Non-turbo 2.0L vs. a Turbo 2.0L

Practicality wise, no doubts, EX wins. The additional 2 doors ( easy ingress engress ) and a bigger trunk is really an advantage.

As a weekend car, roughly the same.

Looks wise, Genesis. But the lancer is just a bit behind.

so I guess, it just really boils down to the preferences of the buyer.
