    Hi,

I'm not sure if this has been asked but me and the wife are currently considering buying a car. We have 2 kids, a newborn and a toddler and we live in Antipolo, near the church so yes, there are a lot of hills. I'm thinking about getting the mirage since it has had great reviews at swak sa budget. However, I feel that the space may become a problem in the long run so I turned my attention to either the Hyundai Accent CRDi or the Honda Jazz since they do give more space than the mirage. So, what my concern right now is, which do we buy? My main factors are:
    1. Fuel Consumption
    2. Budget Friendly
    3. Can travel decently through highways like NLEX and SLEX.
    4. Spacious (the stroller we have is not bulky so it doesn't matter much)

    Thanks!

    Jazz 1.3 mt.

accent is nice but the pm cost of a hyundai crdi is not budget friendly. Hyundai still insists on its 3 months pm schedule.

Di ba masyado malayo ang price? Mirage is 503k, accent is 768k and jazz is 752k. That is a 249k jump in your budget, 50%. Baka ma-over extend ang budget mo.

how about a 2nd hand tucson crdi, there's a 2009 model being advertised at 629k in sul!t.com . No more need to worry about hyundai's pm schedule.

Toyota avanza 1.3j at 620k? Has the space you need and not too far from your budget.

or a non crdi accent sedan at 618k. Or a kia rio sedan at 598k.

Or, how about toyota vios 1.3j at 630k?

Dami pala pwede mo pagpilian e.

From your options id go for jazz. Next is mirage. A far third is accent crdi, I wont even consider it. Goodluck.

Pareho tayo ng choices and I'm from baras and I work in makati. 1st choice ko ay accent crdi, then jazz and mirage.

I'd go with Jazz since may kids na kayo, though I am an accent crdi owner. Safety first. The 768k variant of accent only have an airbag sa driver side. Jazz ata had two. Mejo tumilapon sila about a car's length pero yun sira sa likod di masyado affected rear seats.

Space. Panalo ang jazz over the accent kasi mas mataas ang headroom nya. Yun seats ng accent di adjustable and masyado straight yun. Sana mas naka-slant pa ng konti.

I think you should at least get a compact. Maliban sa jazz yung mga pinagpipilian mo is cramped. Ive ridden in both the mirage and accent and it felt cramped for me. So for me, you should get a compact. How about an altis? After discounts its cheaper than the accent and jazz. The power and fuel efficiency of the accent is really something youd miss though.

Agree with Mikemike07, a compact will be a better choice for a family car. Maybe an Altis or the Lancer EX. However, if you decide on subcompacts and you need big trunk space, then the City will be a good option.
