July 14th, 2006 02:26 PM #1Been shopping around for an MB C-Class (2000-2004) and the 180, 200, 240 almost looks thesame. And whats the difference between the Kompressor, Avantguard and Elegance?

kompressor - engines has a supercharger
elegance - is like the bmw executive option package, tamang leather appointments, blah, blah
avantgarde - is like the sport option package, which generally include the larger diameter rims or sport suspension goodies...
as for your C-class hunting... go for the bigger displacement engine... parang mas matipid ata sa gas in the long run.. or so ive heard....

Avantgarde is a higher trim level than Elegance. Base models don't get called anything.
Kompressor means the engine has a supercharger regardless of trim level.
