Cx5 and tucson ba? I'll go with skyactiv. Mas matipid. Pero kung skyactiv or diesel engine nila, sa diesel ako. More powerful and cheaper diesel. Pero NU na ang engine ng tucson gas ngayon

There's nothing particularly special about the Hyundai Theta engine that I know of. It's just a typical MPI gas engine with variable valve timing. Perhaps if it was the GDI version, there might be some comparison.

NU na ang engine ng gas na tucson. But with the price of cx5, sa tucson crdi na lang ako. More power and economical. But fyi, parating na ang new tucson. Pero expect it to be more expensive than the current one

If you're saying na "release" is this year (yung may video ang topgear) yes yun nga. Kaso di pa officially release. Wala pa ring price.

Kung last year or last last year ba yun, facelift lang yun

Same engine parin ata ang bagong Tucson. Hyundai/Kia has been resting on their laurels lately when it comes to engine tech and letting the Japanese play catch up.

Actually, no. They are currently playing around with developing electric engines. Maybe from there, hybrids. My wish is for a hybrid CRDI.

Hiwalay yan. Parang sonata. May purely gas engine, may hybrid. Obviously di pa tayo handa sa hybrid

Ah yung mini santa fe. Yun nga bro. Kaso wala pang pricing at specs. Di pa officially launch. Inuna yung expensive i20 cross. So i'm expecting this to be also expensive. Sana hindi. Eto yun o https://youtu.be/V2NRlPcNNjk

Skyactiv is newer tech and it comprises the car's drive system (engine, tranny, body, etc.). It comes with direct injection already. Reviews from owners say that it is quite fuel efficient in comparison with engines of similar displacement and output.

Korean turbo diesels are quite good compared to their petrol NA engines. Maybe Hyundai and Kia should start bringing in their turbo and direct injection petrol engines. We have a Kia Sorento 2.4L (model year 2010) and it just gives good enough performance but not really impressive.

Iba ang tuning ng bagong Tucson. 400NM peaks *2750RPM na. While mine peaks *3800RPM.

Yes same engine, same tranny. Different performance pa rin. For sure the 2016 Tucson drives A LOT better than my 2010 iX series.

BTT: Sa Mazda Skyactiv ako. Matipid talaga. Power delivery is good. Naka hawak na ako ng 2.5L CX5 AWD. Ang tulin! I was able to manage 8-9km/L city drive iStop OFF. What more yun 2.0L FWD
