Try www.protegetech.org astina owners will give you a better insight of the car. The site is still down for an upgrade though check on it tomorrow or on Friday.

the only reklamo of our astina owners on their rides is its too low. but hey, blessing in disguise yun diba? he he he
its powered by a 1.6l SOHC carb engine.

Consumables are not that hard to find. A lot of engine/underbody parts are also shared with the more common 323's.
Trim parts can be quite a chore like the black plastic that covers the a-pillars and the taillamps. But those parts can last the life of the car if you take care of it.
