Try the 2006 RAV4. Its a bit bigger than the current CRV and it looks promising. Downside is the waiting again. If you can put up with that then get the RAV4 now! :D

RAV4 is ok. But do have a look at the CRV.

kaya lang according to toyota alabang, ang allocation ng rav4 nila now is only one unit per month... so if you're planning to get one, you should have placed your reservation by now

I would reco Rav4, if you're choosing among the current brand new offerings of the 3.

Hold on... 3 kids, 2 yayas... and (I'm guessing) your wife? Seven people? That won't fit into any of the above choices... not even the CRV (the seven seater model has been dropped).

Your best choice (at a reasonable price) would be a Mitsubishi Grandis, the incoming Zinger or the Innova. The Innova and the Zinger are new generation AUVs, so, though they look pretty good, they're still AUVs.

In the Innova's case, it's stiff-riding compared to CUVs and cars, but okay compared to the Revo. And it drives a lot better than the Revo, with a more athletic engine and above average handling (for an AUV). The best value-for-money is the E variant... too bad it doesn't come with the gas engine.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

teka lang pre... sadya yata yun. di ata kasama wife nya sa mga lakad nila.... hehehehe.

pero i would agree that the grandis is the best for around 7 people.

if you are already considering the Rav4... might as well look at the Mitsubishi Grandis to properly seat 7 people.

onga. parang masikip ang 5 seater sa 7 na katao. ang disadvantage lang siguro ng innova or grandis e lack of cargo space sa likod. baka dapat full size van na yan...or keep the revo. but among the 3, Rav4.

Based on your shortlist, I would recommend the CRV because its got the most space. The RAV4 is a very expensive choice (even for the 4x2 variant), parang hindi bagay for family use.

You could also consider an MPV like the Innova. Or if you've got the budget, the Mitsubishi Grandis.

CRV is definitely out of the question. how can you fit your family in a CRV??? nor xtrail? the only logical choices would be rav4 '06, grandis, innova, fortuner. di ba?

parang mas spacious pa yan revo mo kaysa sa mga CUVs ngaun.

why not a minivan? chevy venture? yun nga lang baka mapagalitan ako ng mga tsikoteer's dito regarding mbt's venture hehehe

kidding aside, sobra luwag nito sa loob bro, when we travelled from manila to subic (6 people + 1 dog), nakinabang ng husto yun pet dog namin kasi para lang sya naglalakad sa kuwarto hehehe

grandis is ok but para sakin masikip pa din sya, it's more of a car than a mini-van.

kung mag-innova ka naman parang nothing new nga lang. same banana revo to innova.

why not wait for the zinger?

the fortuner for a family car? tingin ko dito pang-bachelor type, maliit din naman sa loob ito. unless you like your kids to jump most of the time while disembarking from the car, puwede siguro

Ah, I always thought the Fortuner was kinda mid-sized. Like a jacked-up Innova. Oh well, I guess now I know why not a Fortuner...
