Mazda 3 Hatchback or Jazz 1.5 Vtec CVT

Hello Guys:

What is a better choice? I need a people carrier...but not a big van.

Assume Jazz 1.5 is a 06 model with only 12Tkms for php 620K , the Mazda 3 Hatch has 15Tkms for the same price? I first thought the Jazz was a sure choice, not until I drove a Mazda 3 sedan....hmmm seemed more solid, great steering feel, though less throttle response. But I am tempted by the bigger interior space, bigger body (safer?)

A far 3rd underdog choice is a 2004 Zafira with only 20TKms for Php 500,000. had great space, but iffy repair service etc? Drove one and also feels great, car like MPV.

Me fear, is the Mazda really less durable, service less reliable than Honda's? I would appreciate your inputs as the Jazz may get sold soon.

If you are after carrying people, then the Mazda3 hatch is the clear choice. Afterall, the Mazda3 is a compact car while the Jazz is a subcompact. OTOH, the Jazz is more versatile with its ability to carry larger cargo volumes (compared to the Mazda3 Hatch).
