sir linawin ko lang po na samen sa hyundai abad wala po kame demo unit. kapag may nagpa demo po w/c is very rare tinatanggal po namen speedometer kc nga po bka isipin demo unit un at madami na gumamit. tapos po bago naman i deliver ung unit pnapa inspect sa may ari so that pwede po nya hindi tanggapin or if sya ang kukuha sa casa pwede nya wag kunin ung unit at request sya ng iba.

Pang demo lang naman yun diba? So it is understood that the vehicle the customer is test driving has been used for testing and evaluation purposes on several occasions. It is also understood that, this being a designated demo vehicle, would not be a vehicle that the dealer would declare as brand new.
Or ang ibig mong sabihin, pinapademo mo sa customer yung auto before the transfer of ownership to them?
hindi ba kung sinabi magde"demo", ang gagamitin ay yung demo unit di ba? As in people would come in and try it out, but even with all the those test drive, hindi naman ganoon kadaling malaspag yan. It would take tens of thousand of kilometers of "rough" driving to wear out a new vehicle.
Some dealers of Kia, Toyota, Honda, Mistubishi, etc...really do have specially designated demo units, which they would eventually sell as "used" units.
To sum it up, I still dont understand why is there a need to purposely disconnect the speedometer esp. during a test drive, other than for devious and unscrupulous intentions or purposes.

Which dealer did you get your unit from? If its from the province, it is quite natural to have such a high mileage. If its from the metro area, the mileage is quite high.
High mileage or not during the vehicle's delivery, I still don't see the connection with your encountered problem of poor fuel consumption and the speedometer.
One more thing, have you tried resetting the fuel consumption rate on your on-board trip computer? If you haven't then, your fuel consumption rate is getting averaged cumulatively. Try to reset the on-board computer, after every refuelling.
Re: investigation. Mukhang malabo yan, unless you have complete documentation or hard evidence.

yup sir ganito po nangyayari. gamitin ko na po example ung nangyari last thursday, bale nung friday po tumawag ung customer nag inquire, humingi ng disc. etc. tapos po nung nagkasundo na posa deal she requested if pwede po i demo ung unit sa haus nya. so monday po punta kame dun para ipakita mismo what unit she will be getting fr. us. sinabi na din namen na iyun na din mismo ang ide deliver namen since un na ung color na gusto nya. pumayag naman po sya kc if gusto po nya ng ibang unit ok lang naman umorder kame ulet sa HARI. so ganun po ang nangyayari sa amen. pag ok na ung deal tapos nag request po ng demo tsaka palang po kame naglalabas ng unit.

That is still an unfair practice because you are doing it with the intent of deceiving the buyer. In the US not all models have demo units also, so they use the cars on the lot for test drives and don't disconnect the odometer. When I test drove my truck it had about 6 miles on it and ended up buying and taking home the exact unit I drove that day.
