Guys, help naman. Ano kaya mas okay na family car? 4 adults kami and one 5 yr.old kid. Hmmm our first choice kasi Innova V kasi we really like the captain seats para talagang comfortable saka wala masyado makakasakay sa amin kapag may mga outing and stuff (hahahaha ang damot) saka kasi high end model ang V eh dahil leather seats, etc compared sa ibang variant ng Innova. For the Fortuner naman, oh well maganda siya talaga in and out pero medyo mahal na sa Innova pero sabi naman ng Toyota same platform lang sila. Im really confused kung ano ba talaga. Kung kayo ang papipiliin ano mas gusto niyo as your first brand new family car? Thanks!!

Fortuner. Has SUV-capability which the Innova doesn't have.

Kung hindi ka naman nag off roading mas ok ang Innova in general for family use. Smaller engine means more fuel efficient (assuming you are getting the VVT-i version?) and lower cost of maintenance. In fact the 3rd row of the Innova is more spacious than the 3rd row of the Fortuner, mas hindi pa matagtag (compared to pre-facelift Fortuner haven't tried the new one). As you said yourself ikaw isa lang OFW na puhunan ay pawis at dugo, no need to be flashy the Innova will do. In fact getting the E version would be wise para mas mababa pa DP mo at mas mababa ang amortization.

Innova V has those really nice captain chairs but at the end of the day, you don't need them and their novelty will just wear away. Wag ka na sa Fortuner, pahihirapan mo pa sarili mo. Sa Innova J ka na at yung "savings" idagdag mo sa college fund mo.

Sir, since its value for money yung top priority I think you should not limit yourself to Innova & Fortuner only. Innova V is nearly 1.2M already, there are others with lower price but can provide you with what your looking for & perhaps I would say even better than what Innova can offer.
