If you want to go off-road, it's the Rover... otherwise it's the X5. :cool01:
Id go with the Range Rover but the horror haunts me. Have they improved?
If not, X5 it is... What about the Q7?
threadstarter (kreyo06): napansin ko...you have created a few thread asking tsikoteers opinions on different cars/class/categories. I'm just wondering if the threads you started are for a class/school project or for personal use.
You started a thread on:
Luxury bruisin
Ford Focus (Diesel) TDci vs Honda Civic 1.8s
Chrysler 300c vs Lexus SL450
how much is the 2007 Lexus LS450 bnew and second hand?
Questions: Pls Help.
i want to have ideas, different opinions about the ff cars to expand my knowledge...
and then use it later as I age and have my own money...
hehehe coz right now I always ask my dad... he's a doctor, im a nurse here in the philippines...
and i love asking questions and asking about cars...
thanks...
Land Rovers are known as problematic cars.
While you can quibble about the durability of Korean cars versus Japanese cars, what separates Hyundai from Toyota is a difference of maybe four or five problems per hundred vehicles... in other words, if you have a three in a hundred chance of getting a Toyota Lemon, you'll have a five in a hundred chance of getting a Hyundai Lemon (those aren't accurate figures, but you get the idea).
But with Land Rovers, that problem rate is exponentially higher... to the point that, statistically speaking, anybody who buys a Land Rover has a fifty:fifty chance of getting a lemon. (No, that's not official, but sometimes, it feels that way...)
----
The Land Rover is a good off-roader, but the BMW X5 is a smashingly good on-road car.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
BTW... the BMW X5 4.8i is awesome... the rumble of its V8 engine is just addicting.
Even the official modifiers of Range Rover, Overfinch, have found its suspension tuning and electronics to be a bit of a problem overtime because rover seems to be fond of prototype modules for these systems.
But the X5dang that thing is a dream. For me at least.
What really blew my mind before was the active steering feature that constantly adjusts according to your speed. Sort of like having a second driver that assists you all the way!
Yup, sir niky is correct. Some German manufacturers' manufacture problematic cars which is a horror to the owner and their pockets.
If you want a reliable SUV, get a Lexus because the parent company is Toyota. And when the name Toyota is reflected on cars, one word can be said to describe it.
OT: *Memphis,
