hi guys..my 200k budget just got boosted to 350k!

can I get a 2000 Accord with this money??

My dad wants me to buy at least a 2000 model, with ample space like the camry..has to be a manual, fuel efficient and syempre nice looks na rin..sakin to eh..hahahaha

so what would be a good buy for 350k having those to consider..?

    thanks in advance..

As what you've said, look for a good deal/condition Camry or Accord 1999-2000 model.

    8g galant 1999 is around that price (370k - 400k).

1999 accord is around that price too. medyo malabo yata 2000 na accord for that price kasi honda holds its value very well.

or here's another idea: a 1999 car is 7 years old. marami ka nang papalitan diyan. siguro (considering na honda mid-sized car yun) mga 3k/month na rin ang babayaran mo for maintenance. with a 350k downpayment, pwede ka nang bumili ng brand-new, tapos mga 8k/month siguro yung amortization.

gusto niya roomy eh, and pinag-iisipan niya accord.
the previous-generation accord is not really that fuel-efficient.

kaya nga kung gusto niya roomy and fuel efficient, ipang-down nalang niya yung 350k sa pinaka-entry level na Honda City. that's 50% down (actually more) so mga 6,500 per month nalang ang amortization nun. bago pa at siguradong matipid.

Yup it gets bad mileage pero it's the best looking in its price bracket.

surely you don't mean the 93-97 corona, right?

in my humble opinion the 7G galant, mazda 626, and nissan altima all look better. but that's just me. :P

    kang mapamimilian.

cefiro sana, but i dont think meron m/t na cefiro.
parang kulang yata ang 350 for a decent 2000 executive sedan.

i would say this one is worth a look if wala yung age and size requirement

at this point, the only thing i can suggest would be a hyundai sonata. probably may sukli ka pa =)

executive car ba talaga habol niya?yup malaki nga un...
lynx rs di pasok sa price and fuel efficiency...
galant gti..too old but still i like it...pero kahit sa bago (7-th and 8-th gen), i will still prefer this one...
camry, pero parang pang-matanda ang dating..or is it just me..
corolla ung pagkatapos noong "big-body" ba un?may bibihirang 1.8L noon(7a-fe, ba un)

pero kung habol mo is gusto mo madalian ka ng paghahanap aftermarket parts, sa sub-and compact segment ka mag-stick(sentra,corolla,civic,lancer,city)...having an executive car, as myself, ang hirap maghanap ng part really intended for my car...alam ko lang abundant is the galant and maybe the accord..

...and if ever you would find a yr 2000-up mid-size car worth 350K, most likely wala ka nang extrang pera na pampaayos sa mga sirang makikita mo after. so better be realistic and practical. either babaan mo yung year model or yung size requirement.

If I had that money, I'd get a Corolla GLi and slap in a 20-valve blacktop motor. If you prefer to keep it as stock as possible, a 2000 VTi (facelifted EK, not the (groan) ES) manual is just right for you. Its roomier than the pre-Altis Corollas, has a VTEC motor that performs well while returning decent fuel numbers, with a slick shifter to boot. It's great fun right next to the SiR.

You should be able to get one like that for around 300K or a bit more. Then you can spend the rest of your budget for some repairs, minor beautification and oh, I really recommend an aftermarket air filter. The sound is really good, I tell you; works very well with the VTEC's singing power!
