Lancer GTA or Chevy Cruze LT

The only advantage for the Cruze is the interior... I think it has a nice design and does not feel cheap and ugly... Sa Lancer naman sa higher spec models maganda pero sa GLX and GLS ughhh...

based on my dad's cruze.

these are my observations:

pros- comfy ride, nice dashboard design, nice 6speed AT with cruise control, ok din exterior design, touch button compartment, auto lock kapag umandar na.

cons- AC (10% daw naka open kaya mga diesel truck dito amoy na amoy mo usok papasok ng car. standard daw talaga sa mga cruze accd to chevy casa). mababa ang headroom sa backseat(due do its design). seat quality (madali mag himulmol at masutsot yung tela na ginamit). shape ng side mirrors(pa triangular shape,parang maliit yung view). mejo masikip legroom sa backseat.

Hmmm... Sounds like my friend's Optra pa rin ah. Dun naman wala daw talagang thermostat, so the a/c is always on full blast. The switch controlling the temperature basically opens/closes a vent to add/remove hot air from the outside.

i would choose syempre the Lancer over the Cruze bec. of the Chevy badge. no thanks, good riddance

GTA (or any EX variant), Cruze or Fiesta? (had to tuck in the small wonder car).

Crush ko yung Lancer EX since it arrived.. But the inside is a real turn-off.

Wala man lang shades holder? (sorry my pet peeve.hehe).

Wood trim for the lower models?

atleast the GTA has nice linings (yung parang titanium), rockford yung setup (pero very plain looking). pero even then it doesnt "look" like a million dollar car from the inside.

but ofcourse power-wise it beats cruze.

Lack of an eye-glass holder is not really a deal breaker.

Wood trim does look ugly but easily fixed with aftermarket vinyl stickers (plain colors or carbon-fiber patterns) or painting it.

I'm with the EX. Tacky as the interior is, the primary reason you're buying a car is based on its engine. In any case, the disadvantages of the EX in the interior is easily compensated by the love of its engine performance.

Although I dislike the rear spoiler (I really find it unnecessary), not much has changed for the EX. Chevy did improve its image ALOT if you compare the past Chevys and the Chevys now. But they still need an improvement in terms of customer confidence on their cars. Maybe it'll change for the better.. but not now. I'll stick with Mitsu's reliability.

Well, you can change it to the even bigger wing of the Ralliart or Evo... or remove it but you still have the holes in the trunk to cover up.

Nasa carpark kasi ako kanina sa school, then may nagpapatugtog sa UST Grandstand at the same time may naririnig din akong hiphop na kanta, malakas din. I didn't notice agad na sa isang GT-A pala nanggagaling yung hiphop na tunog. Ganda ng RF sound system!
