Which is better?
Lancer EX GTA vs ASX GLS 4x2 CVT
Mostly city driven.
Mostly just the driver or with one passenger. Not much cargo capacity needed, just the usual grocery shopping.

ASX GLS 2WD CVT!Its good!
Though medyo maliit lang ang cargo space nya pag di nakafold ang rear seats.

i think the ASX will do... kung groceries yun eh, baka may occasional shopping din!fold the seats down for groceries to last a month!
Its a question of HATCHBACK vs SEDAN...
I like hatchbacks more, so ASX for me...
EX GTA for me.
Personally a sedan lover. Never liked the ASX, trunk space is almost non-existent. Both are fun to drive but I don't place a premium on a couple of cm of ride height.
Personally, I'd get the lancer. The ASX offers not much space din naman. You just pay more for its added ride height. The looks are so-so, not that appealing nor so catchy either.
The lancer's in between practicality and being sporty. Perfect for its competitors within the unit's price range ...
Lancer GT-A is overpriced. I'd go with the ASX on this one. It's relatively new and it's an SUV.
^did you see the price after discounts for the EX?
Tingin ko not much difference between the two cars aside from ride height. For me, I'd pick ASX if there are little to no plans to mod, and the EX if I plan to do lots of aftermarket stuff.
GT-A: 5 more horses, 9-speaker Rockford Fosgate, longer (4570mm vs 4295mm; more trunk space), 18-inch wheels, smaller turning radius (5m vs 5.3m), Php 1,295,000
ASX 4x2 GLS CVT: 6.2-inch touchscreen LCD, higher clearance (195mm vs 150mm; better road visibility), Php 1,275,000
Choices... choices... I'd probably still go for the GT-A if it's mostly for city driving.
One thing though, would registration and insurance be the same for both?![]()
