subaru for its boxer engine para maiba lang. kakaiba eh. sana magka-extra money ako para maranasan ko naman kung paano manakbo ang isang boxer engine...


kaya pala parang malapad ang harap ng mga subaru.
balanse talaga horizontal pistons tapos ambaba pa ng position ng makina halos nasa bumber na yung baba ng pagkakasalpak ng engine.. ang ganda siguro stability nito. sa design pa lang lamang na lamang na ang impreza sa evo. pero in real life depende naman sa driver yan.

pero mas maganda siguro mag "age" yung evo. andun parin yung basic look ng evo. ditulad ng impreza grabe sila mag facelift ng kotse nila. pag dumating yung bago, nakalimutan mo na yung older models..

One of my coworkers own an Sti and so far, he's bumped up hp to 550. He prefers the Subaru because of it's Porsche-derived transmission which would be more robust in the long run than the Mitsu's. Of course, his Sti's in the shop (where he works part time) getting a beefier axle because the stock STi's axle can't take 550hp.

Di ko din gusto yun bagong grill ng Subaru. They want something similar to BMW kasi, yun recognizable yun grill. I dont think they did a good job with their design.

Wala EVO pa rin. But from Evo VII to IX, I prefer the design no EVO VII, very mean looking

the impreza rallycar in colin mcrae feels lighter and is nimbler than the evo...

but i manage faster times in the evo. :D

I've just sold my EVO 7 2 months ago. I've had it for 3 yrs & till the day I sold it the power just always seem to amaze me.It felt like you were sucked in a vacuum then spitted out like a slingshot!!! Thats how it felt all the time once you spool the turbo.
But I really like the new subaru WRX sti in blue w/ gold rims. For me it looks better than the EVO 9. For the current price of 2.25M, i think its a bargain for a sports car. 911 territory. I sold mine coz I needed a daily driver. So im eyeing an outlander gls sport, crv or forester. The crv is underpowerd, the forester is old looking inside & out, the outlander looks interesting. Havent made my final decision....still reading reviews from the US & locally.

If you are comparing it to the Subaru Impreza WRX, the Outback would be your next option. The Forester's ride is too soft, which might be fine for comfort but when you push it, it leans over too much. The Outback, even with an automatic and a non-turbo 3.0L engine, can still accelerate and handle well. Suspension is comfortable and yet capable of handling the rough stuff.
