maybe they lower some features/specs from the local STI para maging cheaper? from 320hp naging 280, but afaik, all jdm cars is limited at 280hp, a gentleman's agreement between car manufacturers perhaps or maybe it is the law in japan. so it makes the local sti, purely identical to its jdm sti counterparts. but still, sobrang mahal ng evo ix and if i remember right it doesnt come standard with bucket seats. bakit kaya? ang wierd talaga ng pricing dito sa pinas.

they are direct competitors. i made a quick google and they are priced 160 australian dollars only within each other.

Its the law in Japan limiting all production cars to 280hp. Pricing will always depend on the source.
My Japanese friend gave me Subie's brochures lahat ng STI, spec c etc 280hp lang.
