The Vios is overrated. It's way too cramped (why can't a 5'9" guy fit in the back seat, WTF!), and I hate the center mounted digital intrumentation (cost cutting in high-tech disguise). It's also overpriced, "it's a Toyota" isn't quite good enough (which is also why all Euro-brands are overpriced). Toyota makes cars for some of the best value-for-money , such as the Innova, but the Vios isn't one of them.

Go Hyundai and Kia!

Hyundai and Kia have different distributors.

Hyundai is distributed ny HARI Hyundai Asia Resources Inc.
Kia is distributed by Columbia Motors

So there's a chance that Hyundai may not employ unscrupulos tactics that Kia is doing

tumingin kami ng kotche kahapon na matipid sa gas. yung kia picanto is 415K (wala shang stock at grabe tinaas nya sa introductory price na 320-330k) then yung hyundai getz is 419K. wala kong pambile ng jazz peugot or mini cooper kaya ito lang pwede pagpilian heheh. meron ba nakakaalam dito kung ano mas ok? when it comes to comfort, performance, safety etc. salamat :D

Hyundai Getz is a better car definitely. I just got mine last week. Aircon 's good. Ride quality stable. Although I prefer the looks of the Picanto.

However, stay away from Kia as the dealer is Columbian Motors who treats customers worst than a dog.

hehe pero of course..parehas korean cars yan. reading the feedback on the picanto, ok naman siya, very economical (once you get it that is,) pero sabi mo nga sobra na ang tinaas nyang price compared dun sa introductory price niya. best bet is the getz. bigger and larger space inside.

getz!!!... sumama ako sa bos ng misis ko para bumili ng getz (binenta yung matiz) 400++ yung 1300, maganda sa loob, aircon, luwag pa...natawa lang ako sa reserbang gulong.. parang gulong ng big bike hahaha

yung city 1.5 maganda, sportstronic na, mabilis kay 1.5 sya, at maganda interior. At ok ang resale.
