September 19th, 2010 10:05 PM #1Hi! I need your opinion on the Kia Mohave. How does it stand up against Hyundai's Vera Cruz?

September 19th, 2010 11:03 PM #2AFAIK The Mohave is a true SUV with a ladder frame chassis while the Veracruz is a Crossover with a unibody chassis. This will mean that the Mohave is more capable off road while the Veracruz has better on road manners. Both a really quick having 3.0 liter V6 diesels with the latest technology. The Mohave has ten more horses and 88Nm more torque, but has more heft to carry. Like the Sorento, the Mohave is also speed limited which is not the case with the Veracruz and the Santa Fe.

Performance = Mohave
Looks = VeraCruz
Naka drive na ako ng VeraCruz. Ibang klase ang feeling pag sanay ka sa Isuzu Trooper
Yung power parang doble ng meron sa Trooper. Yung suspension tahimik at soft. Very comfy..

September 19th, 2010 11:11 PM #4Haha pinagkumpara ang Trooper sa Veracruz at Mohave. Yung Trooper malakas na in its own right ah... At yung Veracruz naman kasi ay crossover, kapag hindi pa yan comfortable... naku! How's the handling naman? Sana naman hindi lumabas dito ang shortcomings ng Trooper (or any traditional SUV for that matter) like the 10 turns from lock to lock steering, sloppy handling na parang tataob kapag nag-turn ng may konting kabilisan...

Isama mo pa yung ingay ng makina ng Trooper hahaha
They belong to the same class kasi. hehe
Yung handling hindi ako makapag comment kasi hindi gaano mabilis at walang liko-liko eh. Di bale, next time. Marami pang times na pwede.
Kasi VeraCruz ni ate Ladyrider yun

September 19th, 2010 11:23 PM #6aba... mga mayayaman talaga... Although maingay ang 4JX1, but I'd have to commend the insulation of the Trooper, ang ingay sa labas, pero ang laki ng binawas sa loob! And if it feels like it has 2x the power of the Trooper, it must feel like having 2x the power of the Pajero and Prado as well, which are both more expensive than the Veracruz... How's the FC of the Veracruz, BTW? Being a V6, despite being a diesel it must be quite thirsty. the Trooper already drinks at the rate of around 7.5km/l and it has 2 less cylinders at that.

Mismo. Sa loob ng Trooper hindi na maingay. Lalo na pag bukas na yung sound system. hehehe!
Anyway, yung FC siguro same lang sa Trooper. Around 7-9km/L. Pero possible na mag drop yun ng 5.5-6.5km/L sa traffic. Syempre kasi straight six yun, walang cylinder management. Pero hindi rin naman dapat mag-alala.. Kasi..
Mura ang krudo :twak:
