Last edited by abella20; December 16th, 2012 at 03:12 PM. Reason: wrong grammar

December 16th, 2012 04:14 PM #2I only can comment on Isuzu, since we have Isuzu only Ok siya, dinaman mausok, i believe newer engine na since 2012. Service ok naman sa casa price reasonable. Reliable also ang engine.
You can buy the head only, and find someone who will built your body to your liking and definitely will be cheaper

December 17th, 2012 12:11 AM #4Considering that both have similar seating capacity, sa H100 na ako. Better ride, better brakes.
Mas matibay nga lang ang NHR-PV. Built for hauling yan eh. This is the one if you will be hauling a heavy payload. I remember the Isuzu Challenge wherein the NHR-PV was driven until its full tank was drained and achieved a 12km/L gas mileage. Considering that this is provincial travel with most of the roads being highways with light traffic and driven with fuel efficiency in mind, its not really very fuel efficient. Hindi matakaw, pero hindi rin talaga matipid.
Ang talagang mausok ay yung 4JA1 engine. 4JB1 (yung sa NHR-PV), not so much. In fact, I have yet to see a smoke belching 4JB1 equipped vehicle. Whether it be the Fuego or NHR truck.

Test drive both.
I'd lean more towards the H100 given the better pricing and i'd bet the ride is also better. The NHR would have better ground clearance though so if you'll be using this in bad road conditions and floods, this would possibly have an edge.

A 2nd hand Pregio would be nice. Even better ride quality, pwede kapag mga VIP ang sinasakay. Tapus may pang interchange ka pa kapag may sira ang isa, o kaya tuwing coding days. Early 2000s model pasok na dun.
