used to own this car! sold it years ago - I think 140k is way over budget for the lancer GTi. but its a good car I agree. just make sure the ECU is in good condition (normally 5 or 6 years lang yata life ng ECU neto). suspension's on the soft side even if they package the car as 'sporty'. one of my surprises tho is how the little 1.5 engine manages to move the car so swiftly, on paper it only has 96PS, but top speed is 170KPH.

neway, my pick among the given choices would be the corolla xe. maintenance would be easier because it's a simple car, not much electronic gadgetries to bog down. IMO, electronics on cars older than 10 yrs are not exaclty something to expect so much from.

go for rolla Xe 1.3 or 1.6 GLI
