I and my wife are planning to buy a new car for our growing family and would love to hear insights from you. Here are our options
    MU X LS AT (1.3m)
    Innova E DSL AT (1.319m)

At first we want the MU X, but toyota's sale is very tempting

Innova e dsl AT 71k dp 26478 per month
MUX ls AT 199k dp 26,570 per month

    Thanks in advance!

The Innova is a better family vehicle. It's more practical and has better interior space than any of those PPVs.

Depends on your usage, I suppose. If you do not need the ground clearance, value space and practicality over macho looks, and appreciate the bigger engine, then Innova it is.

The make or break factor is whether you are ok with the Innova's looks or not.

The 1.3m MUX is too "bare" for my liking. Even sidemirrors can't be adjusted from inside the vehicle, you'd have to open the windows to push the mirror itself so the angle will change,

The MUX really has the engine going for it but once you load the vehicle fully, you'd need to rev it harder than the D4D of the Innova.

Though I do find Toyota's priced too high when compared to the market, the MUX in this base model spec is just too underspec'd for the price.

I'd pick the Innova in this case rather than the MUX.

    Innova ako dito.

better interior space packaging. dare I say a bit more comfortable ride. and when it comes time to replace tires very cheaper options. more power to boot.

i'd probably pick the mu-x if among other things foremost consideration is fuel economy and regular use on unpaved roads is expected.

Thanks man. How about trunk space? Innova has 300L but mux specs doesnt show any value. I wonder how much is the difference

I suggest you go back to a Toyota dealer to compare the trunk space of the Innova against the Fortuner. The MU-X would be around the same as the Fortuner in terms of trunk space.

MUX trunk space, sir -- 879 liters with only 2 rows up. 235 liters with all three rows up. Read that somewhere from an Australian website, can't find the link anymore unfortunately.

Discount ng toyota innova ngayon nasa 110k. Dont know until when.

Read up on the common innova issues. Medyo madami sya unresolved issues even after almost 4 years from the 2nd gen debut

yung sakin naging issue lang is rear shock absorber nag leak sa driver side going 3 years na, sa tranny naman about jerk, hindi naman issue yung jerk, nag shift sa lower gear ang tranny pag na ka sense sya ng going down hill ang car, yung mga na unang model walang ganitong feature kaya di nila naramdaman sa older models.

mas matipid parin sa fc ang 1gd engine ng innova compare sa mux rz4e, this is base sa on my innova and my friends mux comparison, mas quiet and faster acceleration din ang innova lalo na pag na ka power mode sya, pero pag hanap mo eh suv and higher ground clearance and mas may dating go for mux

Shock absorbers(some as early as 5 months sira na), water leaking on the tailgate, alignment issue, water retention inside the door shells and rust.

Mine had aircon problems at the 6th month.
