Innova 2.5J 2010 vs 2.5G 2007

Hi mga Bossing,

Posting a new thread po since I've decided replace my Civic with an Innova, For the same Price, which model would you get?
Innova 2.5J M/T 2010 with 30k+ Mileage or 2.5G M/T 2007 with 60k+ Mileage. Hoping to have to feedbacks and opinions on this.

I find the J too bare, but in this case, I'd go with the J, malaking bagay din yung 3 years younger

power locks and windows are non-negotiable for me. i'd get the G.

errr... why the low mileage? "average" mileage is 10K a year..

Tita ni esmi first gen Innova G 2005 model, ang mileage nasa 70K+ pa lang din. Maikli lang byahe daily, hindi rin dinadala for long drives.

Ours is '06 mag 160K na tinakbo [emoji16]

With your choices? Ano pala pricing nung dalawa?

G din for me, like others said J is too bare.

I'd eliminate the J and look for another G.

If it were an E, baka pwede pa. But a J? Too basic.

60,000 is actually low for a 2007 model. So I'll go for the G variant.
But as usual, you to carefully inspect the vehicle. Ask for a PMS record.

Make sure the engine is well taken cared of. Kahit na mejo may gasgas sa body basta okay makina, okay na sa akin personally. Mas madami ipaayos ang body kesa sa engine.

Okay lang ba trade in my 2006 honda Civic 1.8v M/T sa innova G A/T +180k cash?

The 2KD is a very widely used engine, seeing service in four Toyota models many of which are used as many different kinds of workhorse vehicles, and with many examples having racked up ridiculously high mileage already. If there's a modern commonrail engine that's proven to be reliable and with widespread mechanic familiarity, it's definitely this one. Get a unit that's 2nd gen or newer to avoid the 1st gen design glitches, assuming that the problems weren't addressed yet by now.

Besides, the price difference between gas and diesel now is at around P15/L. You'd probably regret getting a gas unit every time you gas up. :D
