I'll go with the MX...

GLS and MX are only in automatic transmission or CVT
GLX is manual transmission.
All (GL, GLX, GLS, MX) have the same 1.6 Li engine. The MX limited has a 1.8 li engine

The Mazda 3 is also a good choice and it fits right into your budget.
Mazda3 V -Php 805,000
Mazda3 S -Php 745,000
Mazda3 Hatch - Php 780,000. IMO, doesnt look as nice as its siblings.
A lot of things have been said regarding the Mazda3 so let me just focus on the downside. First, the engine of the 1.6li seem a bit underpowered and I heard that it might have less than ideal fuel consumption.
Honda Jazz 1.5 VTEC a/t - Php 765,000 -
A bit overpriced and it might receive an update by the second half of the year. However, you will be surprised by the amount of utility this car has to offer with the fold-flat second row chairs. If my measurements were correct, it has almost the same or more cargo space as a CRV. It also has excellent fuel consumption rates.
PS: I would not get a Mitsubishi despite its WRC and Dakar (Pajero) roots, since it has a bad rep in Japan and suffers from a low resale value here.

Between a Lancer and a City, I'd go for the City. I'd be more concerned with fuel economy than a vehicle's size. But that's just me.
