Test drive mo muna Pajero if ok lang sa iyo ang climbing power nito. 99bhp lang ang Pajero and low gearing kaya mabagal umakyat. Pero at least hindi ka ibibitin.
Ok din yung suggestion nila na Tucson since tatlo lang naman kayo. Php888k ang base model nito diba.

Check out the Tucson and see if it suits your needs. Major advantage is the warranty.

Tucson is the ideal brand new SUV you can get. The 2.0 gas FWD should be good, but for uphill climbs to Baguio, the 4WD CRDi diesel version might do a better job. It's just over 1M though.
The Innova is also a good choice, but it's not in the SUV category. A slightly used Pajero 2nd gen should be ok as well, so long as it's not from Subic.

2000 and some 2001 Pajero Field Master blister-fender models are still equipped with 4wd. Some are being sold for aroun Php 850k nowadays (manual transmission).
1995 Pajeros are in the vicinity of Php 550k.
