Hyundai Tucson IX VS Kia 2010 Sorento EX (5 Seater)

The price of new Sorento make me compare it with Tucson IX, new Sorento EX (5 Seater) at P 1.39M and Tucson IX at P 1.338M, both have the new CRDI R eVgt diesel engine, one at 2.2 the other at 2.0 displacement. Sorento is consider a Mid size SUV, while tucson IX a small size SUV or should we call CUV, what's your opinion?

Para sa akin mas worth it yung Sorento since you're getting a mid size SUV for the price of a compact SUV.

Any official specification on the Kia Sorento (5 seater)? Sa website kasi black ang door handle and di kasama ng smart key. Pero sabi ng iba sales, same lang sa 7 seater, chrome handle and with smart key.

*S-U-V: the Sorento has the bigger engine but it is not faster than the Tucson, yes the sorento has the higher HP but no doubt the Tucson is much much lighter.

I think the price given by the thread starter for the Sorento is the LX model with no smart key and keyless entry. it's still a good buy though, 'coz it really looks good.

I also had the same dilemma last december, and now I drive a Kia Sorento.

Kung ganyan lang din yung price, Sorento for me. At least when I see a Sorento I can say it's priced from 1.390-1.9M so ang dating mahal. Goodluck.

Oh well. Yung KDM na Tucson naka-projector na rin. Tsaka yung Tucson ko, ginastusan ko ng mamahaling projector para magmukhang mas mamahalin

Ah ganun ba, di pa kasi ako nakakita ng imported kdm tucson sa daan. So yung iyo is local version na ginaya yung kdm tucson? Ano pang mods ang ginaya mo sa kdm version?

Nope. I modified the headlights of my local Tucson R Premium para naman hindi mukhang mang-gagaya ng KDM.

Meron pala. I bought KDM emblems since I want to get rid of the "Hyundai" emblem. LMX20 & eVGT. Looks original, though. LMX20 rin naman yung sa akin pagdating sa Korea.

At least my Tucson is not a base model then installed TOTL accessories then rebadged it to LMX20
