April 22nd, 2007 10:28 AM #1I am still undecided which to get among the 2. Although in terms of gas consumption, the Tucson has the upper hand because of its CRDi engine. Pero in terms of looks, the new CRV is a head turner (bigla kasi naluma ang itsura ng Tuc when the new CRV came out). The price difference is P100k which I can spare for accessories and other stuff.
It will be used mostly on city driving. Any comments are welcome. Thanks!

both the Tucson and CRV dont look good from the outside IMO..
CRV:
nice interior
all new
good resale value
ABS n Airbags
Tuc:
cheaper by 100k
CRDI engine
no safety features whatsoever
i'd go for the 4x2 CRV if i were you

Kahit pangit CR-V... CR-V nalang siguro...
Pero if you are a fan of diesels then go for the Tuc...
IMHO, in safety, nothing beats the 3 pt. ELR seat belts.

I'm so biased sa Hyundai CRDi.
pero at this comparison, mag CRV ka na lang. yan din ang pipiliin ko in a heartbeat.

April 22nd, 2007 06:44 PM #7dont think its a fair comparison. mas comparable ang tucson CVVT bet the crv iVTEC bec they're both gas-powered. although the tuc had no safety feature it's CBU so the sheet metal used are thicker unlike the crv which is "parang lata sa nipis". but if you're after resale value, then go for the crv

sa pagkaalam ko may ABS at dual side airbags ang Tucson CRDi. yun mga gas version ang wala
maitenance poproblemahin mo na yan after 3 years. all cars today basta bnew matipid sa maintenance. even a ford explorer gastos 5k lang every 6 months

One dude told me it was Li-Ion. Another dude corrected him. AFAIK the Zenix gets the Li-Ion hence...
