I am aiming for the Alto...but the Celerio is growing on me mainly because of it's safety features, soft suspension, and a better engine having the same fuel consumption.

I was also considering the i10, but I am really disappointed at it's fuel consumption. It defeats the purpose of buying a small car.

Another option is the Getz, but it's stiff suspension and poor AC turned me off. Not to mention a lot has been complaining about "kalampag" here and there.

    My i10's at 11-13. I take the Fairview-Makati route everyday. When I'm lucky, I get a 15. But reaching 13 kms/l is just fine.

Are you talking about the automatic?

Ganda yun i10 and Hyundai actually has good reputation. magkano ba itong dalawa? Is it as much as a 2nd hand jazz na sa may 450k?

i10, same here im not particularly tall but i find the cabin of the Celerio so cramped. Also, though the Celerio's dash design is good the materials scream "cheap car". the i10 is classier.

^^ Obviously, since it's a kia....mahal. Pero mas okay naman design niya kaysa sa dalawa. Di ko lang sure sa mga features and stuff since I`m not that familiar with it.

mas sikat ang Celerio sa Europian countries and it is known as A-Star there. yun lang hehe.

mas maliit lang talaga ang legroom ng Celerio compared sa i10.

The Kia Picanto 1.1 MT is 100K more expensive than the i10 1.2 AT!!!

The Picanto AT is way more expensive than any super mini. I think the Picanto AT is only 50K or so shy from the price of the Jazz 1.3 MT.

The new Picanto though is well equipped with everything the i10 1.2L has but lacks driver's airbag.

i sat on a celerio yesterday sa trinoma. masikip yung backseat but the front & driver's seat was ok for me. havent sat on an i10 yet.

kamusta kaya ang FC ng celerio? gusto ko kasi matic eh balita ko malakas daw sa gas ang matic ng i10.

Honestly, both cars are bad deals. I'd rather get the bigger Toyota VIOS at 500k+ or Nissan Sentra (the shocks of that thing are nice, it doesn't feel too jittery).

    Haay...

If you want space --> i10
If you want fuel efficiency and a little porma --> Celerio

My verdict, I'm leaning towards i10 but not yet final .... ?????

I am not worried since my budget is not yet ready, I still have a year to think about it. :p
