Whats your estimated budget and how many seats does the vehicle need to have?
A used minivan(starex, sedona) or AUV might also be a good alternative.

Dalawa H100. Squarelights [carbon copy ng L300 Exceed coach] and Singkit (roundbody).

Between the Mitsu and Hyundai, I'd go with the Hyundai.

    Advantages:
    *Seatbelts for all seats
    *Reconfigurable seats (rotate, recline, etc.)
*Hard plastic and laminate side panels instead of pressed vinyl on the L300
    *Rear wash/wipe on all models
*Seatbelt and lights left on warning chime
*Feels less tinny and more substantial than the L300 VV

But you do have to give up one sliding door.

At least the door is on the right side.

I'd lean toward a H100 also... More features and better design over the L300 but you'll also have to check the suspension, a/c system (medyo mahina kung imported from Korea... although the L300 a/c is somewhat on the weak side too).

OT: Adjust valve tappets and change fuel filters, check/clean strainers, etc.

we were considering L300 at H100 local dati but we end up buying a Mitsu Adventure dsl.

but between the two...H100 din ako basta yung local.
3 spoke mags, all power, 2.6L diesel, multi config seats etc. value for money.

Merong local, labas ng Francisco motors. Naka-three spoke 'twist' mags (parang miniature version ng mags ng mga unang Nissan Patrol Safari).

Not much different from the Korean surplus. By this time bugbog na din yung mga local units na nakikita ko. Siguro hanap ka na lang ng pinakasariwang unit.

Sa parts naman, may mga naiiba ng konti pero karamihan pwedeng straight swap with Mitsu components.

opo may local....pero on the contrary mas marami ako nakikitang fresh na local units.
3spoke tama si sir otep yung twist type, parang sa gen1 viper roadster/93 safari ang itsura....mostly 2 toned, 2.6L engine the one used in NA diesel gen1 starex, all power, mas rounded ang head and taillights. you'll see the difference sa likod kasi isang bilog na hinati sa gitna ang signal light at back up lights nya. IMO basta mas OK sa import itsura.

Ano ibig sabihin ng 3 spoke 'twist' mags? And ilan km/Li ang consumption na diesel ito. With AC and Without AC.
Yung Local ba masmaganda na yung AC?

Can't speak for the a/c. Puro surplus pa lang nasakyan ko and lahat ok ang a/c.

hi guys! we've owned both models for a couple of years, yung hyudai nga lang namin, import verison, but both models performed good, perhaps if i-co-compare mo sya sa L300, mas maganda ang h100 sa handling at features at porma, di k lng nagustuhan ay sobrang kalawangin especially ung mga import versin just like yung napunta sa amin, nung binenta namin, nag full body repair kami, nipis ng kaha nya.

Sa pagkaka-alam ko, dalawag klase ang lumabas na h100 model dito sa pinas, first, nung 1995-1996 ata yun, the version known as "singkit" with plate numbers starting at letter T and most of them are U's, sa pakaka observe ko, straight ang body work at mostly orig paint pa, iba rin ang mags nya, parang multi spoke ata yun.

In my opinon, local versions are far more good than import one, although marami rin namang good condition pa na imported, talagang ang problems lang sa kanila ay sobrang kalawangin ng lang ng kaha, siguro, it is because of the road salts to melt the snow na expose dun sa Korea.

Local is usually sold by owners or individual agents. Surplus is usually sold in surplus dealers/yards.
