hyundai accent 2011 1.4AT vs vios 1.3e AT

hi po fellow tsikoteers, i hope my thread is unique. but can you please help me decide alin po sa dalawa ang dapat kong bilhin.

here are the parameters:
-we plan to use for the next five(5) years
-bank loan po sya.
-it will be our first brand new car puro second hand car kami before (newbie po pagdating sa mga casa matters, etc)
-my wife will be using it more since baka mag abroad ako.
-my wife wants color white (pa comment narin sa choice of color), white daw kasi is taxi

-kumusta naman po in terms of durability, gas consumption, etc.
-sana po walang mag away para marami ako makuha info bago mag decide.
-thanks po in advanced.

Most definitely Hyundai Accent 1.4A/T. It is much cheaper at only 688k, has more power (108ps/136Nm vs. Vios 1.3 85ps/122Nm vs. Vios 1.5 107ps/142Nm), it looks better, is new in the market and so is more exclusive, has more features and a better A/T which has manual shift override.

Not even a choice. Its a STATEMENT! Get the Accent, the Vios has no advantage over it not even resale value cause I am sure over time the resale value of Hyundai's will go up...

Hehe... Is it because the Accent is sold in the FIRST WORLD countries and the Vios only in the THIRD WORLD? :hysterical: But yes, I fully agree. Walang panama ang Vios.

The Vios is also sold in FIRST WORLD, its called a Yaris sedan in the US... Sold in Japan as the Belta. Not sold in Korea though, ganun din Accent wala sa Japan. Hangang ngayon pala magkaaway pa din mga Hapon at Koreano becauise of World War II...

First brand new car at si wifey ang gagamit? wala nang dapat pag-usapan just buy 1.4 AT accent.
Suggest ko red, maganda sa personal. But wait.. this car is an eye catcher (yan ang observation ko noong sinusundan ko ang isang new accent sa coastal. nagtinginan ang driver ng mga kotse na katabi), hindi kaya ma ilang si mrs sa kanyang driving??

Mabilis naman ibenta ang Toyota kaysa sa Hyundai. Kahit 10 years na may bibili yan at mura spare parts unlike Hyundai. May spare parts nga kaya lang mahal. Ewan ko lang kung may bibili after 10 years ang Hyundai. Ang Toyota talagang kilala siya nung araw pa.

And now you would prefer the easier to sell for THE SHEER BETTER CAR. You sell the car only once, you drive the car everyday... And its not like 10 years from now siguradong Hyundai will be hard to sell pa rin given all the leaps and bounds in reputation and quality that they have... It only gets better from here...

So tangalin nyo na mga old school mentality nyo dyan...

sir HYUNDAI STAREX 99 namin still in perfect shape at mataas pa din ang price sa market

...mura ang parts at available nationwide

...we also have HYUNDAI SUV and a "known brand" in the mrket guess what???? mas mura ang PMS ng HYUNDAI at parts compare to the other known brand

its just an old school thinking nowadays...

Sikat kasi Starex mo. Well known sa mga tao yan. For me gusto ko ng Starex kahit yun pinaka murang GS because of performance and SPACE. And mataas ang Resale Value ng Starex.

wow you guys are really helpfull! my bank is currently processing my docs for both vehicles, sila nag cacanvass para sakin. they are having problems on the availability of the accent model. any ideas kung san mas mabilis makakuha ng unit? i have this feeling na im good this week and i want to have the unit as soon as a PO can be made. im keeping my fingers crossed

Accent 1.4AT is a good choice/buy. It's like Accent is in different level compared to Vios 1.3 inside out.

Dashboard p lang talo at wala n panama ang Vios. Ill go for accent, pero kung isasali mo Fiesta 766k A/T 6gear automatic, ill go fiesta..

i cant believe that you are even seriously considering the vios against the accent
it would have been better if it is the city against the accent

wala kapana panalo vios sa accent overwhelming ang sagot
