Honda CRV (4x2) vs. Ford Escape (4x2)

I am considering to this two SUVs to buy as an alternative for a Sedan.

What can you say about the two? Cons and Prons?

CR-V pros: great engine, great steering, good interior space within just-right exterior dimensions, great ergonomics, great chassis rigidity, feels very solid on the road, lots of storage spaces, good seat height

cons: drab interior, rock-hard seats (the leather interior on the AWD version may be better), rock-hard ride when unladen (for the 8-seater and the older 10-seater variants), non-sporting personality if you go for that kind of thing, Honda service and parts are more expensive than other Japanese marques

i categorically object to that statement....... it should read "ganun ba kaganda ang crv why all other SUVs lag behind?" :bwahaha:

medyo ok naman yung itsura ng CR-V, won't win any awards, but nothing offensive, and subtly aggressive in some place(like the front end).

yung top-shelf AWD version with the color-keyed exterior elements looks pretty good though

for road handling, the tribute or escape

for styling i'd go for the rav 4

for playing safe, the cr-v..common ka nga lang..

I have chosen to buy a Ford Escape.... because its more rugged and muscular body makes me feel that it will last long than the other SUVs specifically the CRV... The X-trail and Rav4 is also nice than the CRV.

I am talking to a dealer now... I will update you guys na lang..

why did you say 'CRV na lang to play safe'?
because of it's good reputation?
or its hands-down reliability?
or its numerous accolades received?
or its high resale value?
or simply because you can't go wrong with it?
