The problem for me for not considering the Subaru Forester is that I'm living in Pampanga, definitely no current Subaru dealership out there if ever I want to check the car for maintenance or any complains I will have, mahirap kasi kung pupunta pa ako ng manila to complain a small problem.

So I'm considering only CRV 2.0 AT or Outlander 2.4 AT.

It's very hard to decide now a days.

    Outlander 2.4 GLS 2WD = Php 1,248,000 less (Php 68,000 discount) = Php 1,180,000
    CRV 2.0 A/T= Php 1,270,000.00

Hmmm....Outlander seems to be the no brainer choice here :D.

    Outlander

    +CBU (imported) from Japan!
+Aluminum ceiling to lower gravity and lessen weight
    +2.4 li
+6 speed Invecs III CVTwith magnesium alloy paddle shifter
+leather wrapped + audio contoll steering wheels
    +LED tail lamp
+ plus a lot more features for the money!
+Earned a high marks for crash from IIHS or was it NHTSA? Well so did the CRV.

    - Beige interior color scheme makes it look and feel like a Hyundai Accent inside.
    - Inside door panel is made of full plastic. Its something that is expected in a cheap delivery van or pickup but not in a vehicle costing more than Php 1M.
    - Large dashboard makes precise manuevering in a tight spots, tricky.
    - Visually, cargo area seems smaller compared to the CRV. (Actual measurements are yet to be verified).

Hi number001, ano pa yung wala sa Outlander 2WD compare sa 2.4 high-end ng Outlander. I heard na tinangal nila yung Rockford Fosgate sound system.

Wala bang discount yung GLS price 1,440,000, maganda sana kung around 1.35M

Same HU but without the Rockford logo and only 4 speakers (instead of 9).

The audio jack is for any audio source input. It is composite type connector (white and red RCA connector).

Wala bang issues ang cvt ng outlander like the jazz and city ng honda?

Im now in the same dilemma 4x2 outie or crv. both have pros and cons. But based on looks and features panalo ang outlander. Base on interior and resale value crv naman panalo. But now that the montero sport is out and wala na yung 68k discount promo baka montero sport nalang siguro if they release a 4x2 variant im sure hindi maka layo yung price

Certainly Outlander. It has more space, great 6 speed CVT, more toys, more utility, powerful engine, Evo X chassis and with that much to offer, who knows if the Outlander's resale value will be lower than the CRV's?
