IMO - this is a no brainer for me...
Get the Civic... you'll get a bigger vehicle that comes with the best base engine (their 1.8L R-series).
more metal for the buck. civic.
bigger engine 1.8L vs 1.5L
may have the smallest wheel size but still same as the biggest offered in the vios (15")
more room, more power, bout as stylish too.
you just have to sacrifice some safety equipments with the civic.
i agree w/ the guys here. between your 2 options, the civic v would be the better choice. mas sinulit mo ang pera mo![]()
Are you replacing your old Civic? in that case get the new FD 1.8 V but if not and your plan is for business pwede na rin yung Vios.
anu ka ba naman! ndi mu pede ipag-compare ang civic sa vios... and katapat ng civic is altis and vios naman sa city... errrr
IMO, if you're talking about value in a car (whether its a compact or sub compact), then you can't go wrong with a Vios 1.3 E (Php 649,000). Imagine it has power everything except side mirrors only, ABS, key fob-remote door lock, TVSS, driver's airbag, alloy wheels, etc... All that for only Php 70,000 or even less (if discounted) than a 1.3 J.
OTOH, the Civic 1.8 V M/T is the least expensive variant at Php 777,000 and it does not seem to be a proverbial "bang for the buck" esp. since it is sparsely equipped with no abs or any safety features at all. If you're getting the Civic and you got the budget then you may as well get the 1.8 S variants, which has ABS, dual airbags, etc for roughly Php 60,000 more than the 1.8V.
