If all other parameters are equal, sa Accord na ako. It is a class above Civic.

never had an accord, so i'll go for it. it's better than the civic i suppose

a 1996 civic is about 200k- 230k while an accord of the same year
is less.

+1. The bigger the car, the more expensive the parts.
Only go for the Accord if the transmission is in good condition and it doesn't have any kalampag issues. Otherwise, go for the Civic.

Also boils down to maintenance and the current condition as well as service history of the car. Like Niky said masmahal Accord in terms of parts and maintenance so hopefully hindi siya nalaspag compared sa Civics of the same year.
Why did you think of the Accord in the first place? There must be a reason why you considered it too.
