It was quite a gamble kasi most would say madaling masira daw turbo ng Accent CRDi na katulad ng sa akin. Pero awa ng Diyos hindi naman, mas improved pa nga ang engines ng later Accent CRDi models as some say, kaya nga iba ang oil filter ng 2006-08 sa 09-11 (like mine). Point is, Hyundai is constantly improving its products naman, I haven't heard any suspension problems from 2013 model owners so far. Most na mga naririnig ko is dun sa mga kakilala kong 2011 gas models. Which is the 1st batches ng gasoline Accent. Baka naayos na nila suspension problems. Yung may clutch problem, nakausap ko mismo yung isang nag rereklamo sa unit nya. 2 days palang ang oto. Nakausap ko sya sa last EB namin. Frustrating part hindi pa alam ng casa what to do. Wala pa sila memo. At natatanggal naman pag off then restart mo makina. Kaya yun muna cure nya sa plagued units at the moment. And the reason for sharing is not to bash my own brand, it's because I know how valuable 1st hand info from real owners, kaya nga sali ako ng sali sa mga car club ng oto ko e (or kahit balak bilin palang). And it matters to me, where and what model will I get satisfying ownership experience with my hard earned peso.

The diesel uses a stiffer suspension than the gas, and CV Joints are different, so any problems there will not be shared.
My only worry for the CRDi going forward is the engine mounts feel soft and the feel at the clutch pedal suggests it's a cable clutch, not a hydraulic. Not nice to use and might result in premature clutch wear in traffic.
Lancer GLX is a good deal versus the MX.
