Honda City 1.5 cvt vs Toyota Vios 1.3/1.5 matic

By the way sir, yung purpose po ng car na i buy ko is for my wife, home to ofc, balikan mon to fri. the ofc is about 30kms sa house namin. which kaya ang mas econo sa amin yung honda 1.5 E M/T o toyota vios 1.3 base M/T?

If you just need basic transport to and from the office, the Vios J is much cheaper than the City E.

No need to spend on the City E, the Vios (even the J) already has all the basic creature comforts you need, as well as lots of space for 5.

How about fuel consumption sir? not much diff? 70% of the way to ofc, is highway naman. we are also considering the parts for repair and maintenance in the long run. overall you think toyota is better?

Personal opinion ko lang po, I would go for Vios 1.5, lower displacement doesn't always mean more fuel efficient lalo na po sa case mo na 70% highway. Advantage lang yung maliit displacement kung babad sa traffic. I have Hyundai Getz 1.1 dati nakaka 7 km/L lang ako mixed city/highway hehe. Sa mataas na displacement di mo kailangan i-floor yung gas para umarangkada agad i.e. konting apak lang sibat agad :D usually mas torquey yung higher displacement. As per FC ng Vios I think efficient dahil favorite nilang gawing taxi e :D

Hmm. Also trying to decide between a Toyota Vios 1.3E AT, a Honda City 1.5 VX CVT and a Honda Mobilio.

Suggestions and/or recommendations, anyone?

Labo ata sir, malayo na ata presyo nung 1.3E Vios sa 1.5 VX City, so sa budget magkakatalo. But if kailangan mo yung added seats, Mobilio ka talaga.

Pwede po bang makisakay sa thread? Ako rin ngayon pinagiisipan ko kung 2015 honda amaze 1.3 or toyota vios 1.3e.. Any suggestions po mga sir.. Thanks in advance.. Naguguluhan na po kasi ako.. Kasi dati kasama sa choices namin yung honda city 1.5e cvt kaya lang ang ilalabas na daw kasi nila eh yung 2016 model so mataas na yung dp and monthly kaya hindi na namin sya na consider..

The Vios will be a better choice over the Amaze, in my opinion. If you want the City, go for it. Wala naman planned changes sa current chassis ng City so the 2016 model will be the same build as the 2014-15 models (except siguro mga extra burloloy to market it as a newer model). Baka ginu-goodtime ka lang nung ahente so go check another dealer.

If you're really looking at the Amaze, you may just want to consider the Mirage G4 as another option.
