are you comparing the new city vs the old body lancer (yung hindi ex ha?)
i think the city 1.3 is bare...compared to full features of the lancer. front and rear disk brakes na ata ito, and two airbags.
on power, yes, ramdam ang difference ng 1.3 and 1.6. ramdam mo din ang difference ng fuel consumption. hehehehe.
technology? Vtec na ba yung City?
safety? the lancer, is bigger, has dual disk brakes and dual airbags.

yung latest na lancer glx po sir(yung hindi ex)..
i think the city 1.3 is bare...compared to full features of the lancer. front and rear disk brakes na ata ito, and two airbags.
tama po front and rear nga ata.. i think.. .. yung honda dual airbags din, ABS with BED+BA.. yung lancer ba wala ABS?
on power, yes, ramdam ang difference ng 1.3 and 1.6. ramdam mo din ang difference ng fuel consumption. hehehehe.
laki ba difference? on power and FC o bareable nmn b?
technology? Vtec na ba yung City?
ivtec yung nakalagay same lng ba yun?
safety? the lancer, is bigger, has dual disk brakes and dual airbags

^^wala pa atang ABS yung lancer GLX (not sure).
on the power and fuel consumption, yes, malaki ang difference sa power. sa fuel consumption naman, let us say that the 1.6 lancer consumes around 10 kpl, while the 1.3 consumes around 12 kpl.
ivtec is the same as vtec.

Looks - City (newer design) Lancer (older)
Performance - Lancer 110 ps (no-brainer due to advantage in engine displacement) vs.
City 100 ps
FC - City 11-12 km/li, Lancer - no data available
Technology - City iVtec SOHC PGM-FI I-4 engine with drive-by-wire technology
Lancer SOHC ECI-Multi I-4 engine
(dunno about Honda's DBW technology and iVtec, but the SOHC-Multi engine technology has been in the Philippine market since 1996)
Transmission - City - 5 speed a/t
Lancer - 5 speed m/t
Not factoring in other aspects like preventive maintenance costs, ease of sourcing parts, resale value and price, I think the City wins over the Lancer.

i would be using the car for a long time about 5 to 10 yrs.. which would be a better choice? which would be more reliable in the long run?
Which car is better in terms of value for money?
Consider po gas consumption, and maintenance cost.
