Ano po ang mas comfortable sakyan at ano po ang masmatipid sa fuel consumption (e.g, hilux 2.5 DSL vs Jimny 1.3 gas)?

The hilux rides really stiff compared to the jimny.
Fuel economy might favor the hilux though,
4x4 hilux na stock po yung tinest namin. High rider body,

i'll pick hilux. ang liit nung jimny e. hirap pumasok passenger kasi 2-door lang and almost no space for luggage. but if it's not an issue for you, jimny na. 4x4 pa
^ Have you tried driving the Jimny for long drives?
I'd still go for long wheelbase vehicles fo long drives. Small cars tend to be unstable on quick bumps and on corners. Jimny is even sloww that my usual 6hrs drive would become 8.
Regarding tagtag, parehas matagtag for me. Jimny having solid axles in coils vs independent front and rear leaves but longer wheelbase. When you load the bed of a pickup, for sure parang sedan ang undulation ng springs. For this thread comparing a mini-SUV VS pickup would need actual experience on both.
The old Hilux versus the Jimny... Jimny hands down... grabe ride comfort ng lumang Hilux.
Latest facelift, though... patas lang.
Tama si OTEP... kung versus 2.5 na Hilux, talo yung Jimny sa fuel economy. Against 3.0, baka patas lang, or may konting advantage ang Jimny. Pag Jimny na MT, medyo okay... parang 2.0 lang lumaklak.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Tanong lang sa jimny, what kind of electronics does it have? Di ba gas yung mga ganyan, sealed ba? Snorkel lang ba na upgrade pwede na or may iba pa kailangan to brave floods? Nakakaengganyo kasi mura 2nd hand.
I have both jimny and strada, Strada is far more comfortable than the Jimny. The Jimny being short wheel based it's not appropriate on high speed hi-way cruising but in offroading it's very much capable and durable since it uses solid axle both front and rear, no c.v. joints which easily get break during hardcore offroad. It is useful in tight streets also and I would say it's effortless if you have short trips usually it's just you that has to be transported, Jimny is perfect
Strada on other hand is very much faster on hi-ways and comfortable just like driving a sedan, while in offroading it's also capable but on light trails only. Both my Strada and Jimny have been lifted so they can go up to medium trail and hardcore trail respectively.
