    As much as I would like to help you out I cant compare because I have a civic ung Mitsu naman pajero magkaibang mundo. Maybe you could be more specific.

    Regarding maintenance kung casa din lang pag uusapan di nagkaka layo ang presyo.

    Regarding sa performance Honda always have an edge over the other... ;)

    Also assuming na brand-new:

    Performance - Honda
    Maintenance - Mitsubishi

    I'm speaking from experience ng mga kasama ko sa office. Sakit daw talaga sa bulsa ang maintenance ng Honda.

    ive driven a Civic and a Lancer. the Lancer is a good comfy ride with just the right amount of torque and speed. the Honda feels like pure brute power.

    im also considering to buy a new lancer. preferrably the mx. i have thot of taking the civic over the lancer myself but i thought of two cons for the honda... higher MSRP and maintenance. pero d lang ako sure if ma ooff set ng civic yun sa fuel efficiency nila which is a pro over the lancer.

    i need an opinion over this matter also from you experienced guys out there. as of now im thinking of getting the lancer mx.

    btw, just a thought... im also hesitant to get the lancer as there will be a new 2008 lancer which is really really nice, as in tulo laway nice... search nalang the 2008 mitsubishi lancer over the net. im doubting that they will release the same model here but i suppose there is a bit of a chance they will considering that they are due to release the next model next year... waaaaaaaah.... i need help!!!!! such a dilemma! sayang ang money...

    Honda ESi 1995 model 150k
    or
    Mitsubishi lancer GLi 1997 model (pizza pie) 150k

    pareho 1st own and makinis and maayos makina

    Based on experience...

    My first car was a 99 Galant SS (bnew) and I had the mileage up to 90KM and sold it in 2002...Nice car...malakas humatak...matipid din MT kase...I just replaced the aircon nasira but that is all in 90KM...I have to sell it kase nasira budget ko financially and ....

    bought a 2000 Civic 2nd hand in 2002 (mileage was 40K and now 132K)...until now gamit ko siya and super tipid sa gasolina...yun nga lang dami ko ng nagastos sa Casa at replacements starting at 80Km (siguro inabot ako P100K pati mags at repaint at shocks, etc)...ganon talaga pag luma na pero maganda pa din and sentimentally I really liked this car, Ok sa performance pati sa Chicks (joke lang)...it is still with me (selling it next month)...

    Last week I bought a 2.0 Civic MT carbon bronze yung limited...Ganda ng car na to hehe 17" mags...

    I really like the HONDA over the MITSUBISHI...

    Im not a fan of honda but i would choose it over a mitsubishi! Pangit kasi ng reputation ng Mistubishi dito sa tate, bihira lang ako makita ng pinoy na naka mitsubishi. Pero pag EVO IX ibang usapan na yun

    Mitsu ksi ang sagwa ng porma ng mga sedan nila... pero ok pickup/suv

    maganda kung lagyan ng turbo yung GLXi ng bagong lancer ^_^

    Mitsu ako! Honda ngayun mukhang plancha harapan...
