I will now buy my first car (syempre brand new) and I need your help masters. Ito po pinagpipiliin ko:
1. Honda Jazz 1.3 or 1.5
2. Honda City 1.3 or 1.5
Tinanggal ko na po sa listahan ko yung VIOS and M3 kasi kung Vios pang-taxi tignan (peace po this is only my opinion ) at pag Mazda3 naman although maganda, aggressive pero magastos naman sa gasolina (just being practical folks).
Masters Tanong ko po:
1. Ano po ba mas fuel efficient yung 1.3 or 1.5? Yung may City at Jazz owners po pwede po ba ipost nyo yung Fuel consumtion nyo? Mahilig kasi ako Magstroll.
2. If City or Jazz ang mapili ko, balak ko pong pa-gullwing yung doors and palagyan ng hydraulics(ala lowrider ni eddie) san po ba pwede magpainstall and how much? My budget is 1M.
4. Taga Antipolo po ako and san po ba the best bumili at pwede matawaran ng malaki at syempre accomodating ang mga agents? Shaw? Marikina? Caloocan? Pasig?
5. Ano po ba mas tahimik Vtec o idsi? Since pupunta naman ako ng honda malalaman ko rin but I need your experiences masters.
Thank you po.

The 1.3. The 1.5 is relatively fuel efficient, but the 1.3 is still better.
2. If City or Jazz ang mapili ko, balak ko pong pa-gullwing yung doors and palagyan ng hydraulics(ala lowrider ni eddie) san po ba pwede magpainstall and how much? My budget is 1M. I don't really know if the Jazz/City has enough space for the mechanisms associated with this mod... and be warned... they might have to cut up your car to do this. That's why most "lowriders" are old cars, as it's not as worrying to cut them up. If all you want is simple lowering, you can get lowering springs and sports shocks for the Jazz, cheap. If you want adjustability, you can get adjustable shocks and an in-cabin controller... but this won't give you height adjustability on-the-fly... you'll still have to adjust the spring mounts from the outside. Adjustable coil-overs should cost less than 100k pesos.
Gullwing doors... again, I don't know if there's enough space on the Jazz or City to install these. There are local vendors who will do it, but I don't remember the prices.
If your overall budget is 1m, It might all fit... as long as you get the 1.3 only.
If you want to do such destructive mods to the car, better to buy a secondhand earlier model. I'm not sure if gullwings and hydraulics are irreversible mods, but I'm pretty sure they're going to leave some holes in the bodywork. Hmmm... if you're set on cutting things, why not try suicide doors? Have the fronts normal and the rears open "suicide-style"... be much cooler and more "OEM" looking.
Personally? If you get a brand-new vehicle, stick to coilovers, mags and sounds. Even just 15" and 16" mags look terrific on the Jazz, and there's lots of space in the trunk for a great sound set-up. If you want, you might still have enough left over for a turbo kit... I think SpeedLab is finalizing a mass-market version of their Jazz turbo-kit. Cost will hopefully be under 150k (and that's all new stuff... no surplus)
3. Sa tingin nyo ano mas "chick magnet" yung City or Jazz?

i had an opportunity to test drive one. mas spacious din ang jazz pagdating sa cargo, just try to fold the rear seats to see it...
kung papamodify mo lang din, go for a second hand vehicle... I think mavovoid yung warranty mo pag nagpamodify ka according to what you have listed.

Thank you po sir for your reply. Hindi na po ako magpapagullwing but i'll still go for the exterior set-up for the Jazz (Jazz 1.3 kukunin ko na po) and 1m po yung budget ko for the set-up
Suicide doors?
Pero sir ok ba yung scissors door for my Jazz?

Errr... I don't get it... you want a fuel-efficient vehicle but you are willing to blow 1 million pesos on exterior aesthetics?
Just get the new Hyundai Coupe if you want a good looking vehicle.

I'd rather you got the 1.5L Jazz, so you'd still have a little more OOMPH!! considering you'd be loading it with quite a lot of mods.
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
